4. Apple cider vinegar isn’t the only thing you can drink to calm down your nerves. You can drink herbal tea every day as well. Sage, St. John’s Wort, Valerian, and green tea are all good choices. If it tastes bad, you can add a small amount of honey or sugar.

5. Another helpful herbal remedy is lime. Cut a piece of lime in two and then rub the juice over the part of your body that experiences excessive sweat. Let the juice dry overnight and then rinse it off in the morning. Lime juice does a good job of drying up the pores.

6. Like iodine, a low level of zinc can also cause profuse sweating. You might want to eat more foods which contain zinc. You could also take a zinc supplement every day, although you should talk to your doctor first to make sure it will be safe.

7. Use some charcoal body wash or soap. Charcoal is a great detoxifier. With fewer toxins in your body, you won’t sweat so much. The best bath products are the ones made with organic charcoal. This ingredient will also eliminate any acne caused by excessive sweating and bacteria.

8. Perhaps the easiest (and best) home remedy for excessive sweating is water! Drinking plenty of water every day will really clean your system out. With a clean system, your body won’t need to sweat profusely. Drink several glasses a day for maximum results. While you’re at it, start drinking less sugary drinks, alcohol, and caffeine, as they will make your sweating problem worse.
