I have used this DIY device for years for my feet and it works. I am curious why it doesn't tingle anymore? I have replaced batteries so I know they are fresh. Is it possible my feet have gotten "used" to the treatment? I just don't feel it's working as well without the tingle from the current.

Hi Julia, If you're not used to this treatment, it can definitely feel uncomfortable at first. That said, it won't outright hurt you. Give it a go and see if it's for you. I CAN tell you that this is one of the MOST effective hand sweating treatments for home use.

Do NOT try using this treatment on your face. That is not what it is intended for. You can however, use Iontophoresis on your underarms. I'll be coming out with a video shortly that shows you how to do this.

To Renny Suresh,

Hi,
I also had my doubts, especially when I didn't notice any results after the first few days....HOWEVER after the first 6 treatments of 20-30 minutes a day using four 6-volt Energizer brand batteries (24 volts total) I noticed that my hand sweat actually got WORSE. But then I gave my hands a few days rest and noticed the sweat decrease by a lot. I think that it is good that you give your hands a few days rest" after successive treatments. Anyways, now my hands are normally completely dry and I use the ionotophoresis every 4th day or when I feel my hands starting to sweat again. I am SOOO grateful for this video....saved me from so many awkward moments and saved me some money! I can finally be myself!

Specifics of what I did:
I used 4 6-volt batteries (24 volts total)....stings a bit at first but you get used to it.
I used alligator clips.
Warm water and I added regular table salt (2-3 teaspoons) for every gallon of water (make sure you dissolve the salt in the water by mixing)
I also used Aluminum baking pans but noticed that they do begin to rust after a two weeks or so....

Iontophoresis Treatment: 20-30 minutes per day for 6 days (make sure to change polarity at the halfway point) , rest for 3 days, start again for 3 days straight of 20-30minutes, rest 3 days....by then you should see some results but be patient because I think this varies from person to person....just make sure to stay consistent but also let your hands rest. Also my hands actually got WORSE before they got better. Once your hands are dry just treat them every few days or when they get sweaty.
