How Can You Stop Profuse Sweating? Learn How with These 8 Tips!

Are you feeling frustrated because you sweat so much? Do you wish there was a way you could stop profuse sweating? Although perspiring is a natural process, some people do it a lot more than they should. It can be very difficult to control excessive sweating – especially if you don’t know why your body is doing so much of it in the first place!

Fortunately, it’s not that hard to figure out why you are sweating so much. Profuse sweating can be caused by a number of factors:

· Overactive glands!

· Being overweight!

· Lack of exercise!

· Lack of good hygiene

· Poor dieting

· Caffeine addiction

· Alcohol addiction

· Diabetes

· Menopause

· Thyroid problems

If you have a serious medical condition, or are concerned that you might, then ask a doctor about your options. If you are in overall good health, yet still find yourself sweating way too much, then you can try some natural remedies to stop profuse sweating.

Here are some tips on how to stop sweating so much:

1. If you are overweight, you need to lose a few pounds to see if that helps. Being just ten pounds overweight can cause your body to produce more perspiration than it should.

2. If you aren’t overweight, but don’t eat properly, then you might want to make changes in your daily diet. Unhealthy foods can cause sweating problems. You should also avoid spicy and hot foods since they can trigger perspiration.

3. Cut down on stimulants such as caffeine and energy drinks. An adrenaline rush will lead to profuse sweating. Reduce the amount of caffeine and sugar that you drink and opt for more water instead. Drinking water will result in fewer toxins in your body, which means less sweating.

4. Keep every inch of your body clean every single day. Maintaining excellent hygiene will keep your body from sweating so much. You might also benefit from changing your clothes twice a day. If you have to, take a change of clothes with you to school or work every day.

5. Lime juice has been reported to work as a home remedy. Just grab a piece of lime and rub it over the sweaty areas of your body. Make sure that the juice is absorbed into the pores.

6. Drink a cup of tomato juice every morning. Tomato juice is rich in antioxidants which may help regulate the activity of your sweat glands. Also, eat grapes and acai berries throughout the day. These, along with the tomato juice, will help your body stay cool.

7. Black tea is said to help with palm and feet sweating. Combine two black tea bags in a pot of water. Boil the mixture and then add cold water to the mix for diluting purposes. You can then soak your hands or feet in the solution for twenty to thirty minutes daily. Black tea has a lot of tannic acid, which will clog your pores and prevent sweating. Keep in mind that this is only a short-term solution.

8. Stay away from hand lotions and soap that contain petroleum. If you use oily products on your body, you will sweat a lot more. Also, the chemicals contained in a lot of these products will be absorbed into the pores. This will contribute to the buildup of toxins in the body, which will result in more sweating.
